Canadian Eventers Compete on Two Continents

Canadian eventers competed in international competitions on two continents over the weekend of September 19-22. In the United States, Peter Barry Dunham, QC and Kilrodan Abbott competed against a large contingent of international competitors finishing 15th in the CIC3* division of the Plantation Field Horse Trials held in Unionville, PA. Barry and Kilrodan Abbott, a 14-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding sired by Clover Brigade and owned by Peter and Susan and Dylan Barry, started the competition earning 61.8 penalties in dressage. Harness Racing Research Project Needs Your Input

An ambitious consumer research project involving four Ontario racetracks is seeking input from harness racing patrons. Dubbed the Alliance of Standardbred Racetracks of Southwestern Ontario (ASR-SWO), the group is comprised of four not-for-profit racetracks: Clinton, Hanover, Western Fair and Grand River. Ontario Medals at Canadian Interprovincial Equestrian Championships

Ontario’s riders brought home the hardware at the 2013 Canadian Interprovincial Equestrian Championships, which took place from Sept. 13-15 in Calgary, AB. and saw riders from across Canada vying for a place on the podium.
