Beth Underhill Selected as Jump Canada Young Rider Development Program Advisor

Beth Underhill of Schomberg, ON has been selected as the Jump Canada Young Rider Development Program Advisor. After opening the newly created position of Young Rider Development Program Advisor for application, Jump Canada performed an extensive interview and assessment process. Underhill was ultimately chosen as the successful candidate. A Canadian show jumping icon, Underhill was first named to the Canadian Equestrian Team in 1990 and has represented Canada in over 25 nations’ cup competitions. In Memoriam – Susan Rothgeb (1937 – 2015)

The Ontario Equestrian Federation extends deepest condolences to the friends and family of the late Susan “Sue” Rothgeb, who passed away on September 29, 2015 at the age of 78. Rothgeb was born in Okmulgee, Oklahoma and moved to New Mexico as a young girl. She was involved in dressage for most of her life and bred sport horses at her home farm in Alexandria, Ontario. Rothgeb was a dedicated competitor, coach and judge before retiring as an FEI judge in 2009 after judging extensively…

The Ontario Equestrian Federation would like to extend heartfelt condolences to Team Millar, Sue and Ariel Grange and everyone at Lothlorien on the passing of legendary show jumper, In Style. The striking bay Holsteiner gelding (Acord II x Lord) was humanely euthanized on September 27 at the age of 20, following four wonderful years of retirement.
