Oakhurst Farm selected as the host for the 2016 Ontario Horse Trials Provincial Championships

Announced on Nov. 21 at the Ontario Horse Trials Association (OHTA) Annual General Meeting in Alliston, ON, Oakhurst Farm of Ashton, ON has been selected as the host site for the 2016 OHTA Championships, which will be held on Sept. 3-4, 2016.  The competition will attract competitors from across Ontario to compete in the year-end provincial championships for the equestrian sport of Eventing. Puslinch Horse Rescued by Fast Acting Emergency Crew

Puslinch Firefighters’ were dispatched to a Public Assistance call for a horse stuck in a horse trailer on October 12th, 2015 around 09:30 hours. Ten Firefighters were in attendance for the nearby horse farm on Wellington Road 34 in Puslinch Township. The crew responded quickly; and were at the scene within 7 minutes from the initial pager activation. Nicola Philippaerts Wins $50,000 Weston Canadian Open at 2015 Royal Horse Show

Belgium’s Nicola Philippaerts scored victory in the $50,000 Weston Canadian Open on Friday night, November 13, at the Royal Horse Show, held as part of The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in downtown Toronto, ON. British course designer Richard Jeffery set a challenging speed track for the starting field of 21 entries.
