Horses and ponies will be trotting back into Toronto on Saturday, June 6 for Horse Day, an OEF initiative to give the public a chance to meet horses and learn about riding and driving.
Horse Day is a free, one-day public event designed to educate people of all ages about horses and provides visitors with the opportunity to experience horses up close and personal. Now in its seventh year, Horse day takes place at the Horse Palace at Exhibition Place and gives horse enthusiast a chance to learn about horse care, explore interactive exhibits and displays, watch riding demonstrations, meet special guests and talk to visiting clubs and associations. Back by popular demand will be a children’s activity zone featuring horse-themed games, as well as arts and crafts.
This year, Toronto Horse Day will celebrate the upcoming TORONTO 2015 Pan American Games. Features will include riding disciplines demonstrating the Pan Am equestrian disciplines, Pan Am themed activities and crafts, opportunities to sign banners for the riders who will be represent Canada at the Pan Am Games, and much more!
