Ticket to Ride

Ticket To RideDo you dream of learning to ride but don’t know how to get started? We have your Ticket to Ride!

The Ontario Equestrian Federation is pleased to introduce the Ticket to Ride program in partnership with Equine Guelph’s EquiMania! to offer a FREE introductory riding lesson or introduction to horses at participating OEF member riding facilities.

One of the most important factors when choosing a place to ride is to look for a safe environment that uses horses that are suitable for new riders. The Ontario Equestrian Federation’s Horse Facilities Program is a good place to start. This voluntary program is made up of member stables that agree to keep their property in good condition, make safety a top priority in their riding programs and ensure their horses and ponies are in good health and are suitable for use in riding lessons.

To help riders get the best possible first experience, we have reached out to these facilities and they are offering a FREE assessment lesson, discounted lesson package or FREE “introduction to horses” barn tour. This is your Ticket to Ride.
